With a view to explore opportunities for possible cooperation with the key Think Tanks in Washington DC, Charge d'Affaires Mr.Madhuka Wickramarachi met the representatives of the South Asia Programmes of the Atlantic Council and Stimson Center.
Charge d'Affaires discussed the ongoing South Asia programme of the Atlantic Council which also includes a study on Sri Lankan health sector and the areas for future cooperation during his meeting with Resident Senior Fellow for South Asia Mr.Michael Kugleman and Global India Fellow and Associate Director- South Asia of the Atlantic Council.
Mr.Wickramarachchi, in his meeting with Ms.Akriti Vasudeva,Fellow,South Asia Programme and Editor-in-Chief, South Asian Voices and Ms.Elizabeth Threlkeld, Director and Senior Fellow, South Asia Programme of the Stimson Center discussed the current Stimson Center engagements with Sri Lanka and the possible collaborations in the future.
Ms.Buddhika Wimalasena, Minister Counselor also joined the Charge d'Affaires for the meetings.
